What to expect when you work with Vayando & Fora

In this short video, we walk through the planning process, answer the questions we hear most often, and explain how Vayando works from first conversation to finished itinerary. If you've never worked with a travel designer before, this is a good place to start.

The process

Here's what happens after you hit send.

01

You fill out the planning request.

About two minutes. Tell us who you are, what kind of trip you're imagining, and when you're thinking of going. That's all we need to get started.

02

We reach out within 2 business days hours.

One of us will follow up personally, ask a few questions, and get a clearer picture of what you're looking for before we start designing.

03

Your itinerary starts taking shape.

We'll refine the vision together, present options, and keep working until the trip feels exactly right. No pressure on timing.

A few things people usually ask.

Is there a fee for planning?

No. Our planning and design work is complimentary. We're compensated through our supplier relationships, which also means our interests are fully aligned with yours: we have every reason to find you the best fit, not the most expensive one.

What types of trips do you specialize in?

Expedition and luxury cruising, heritage and historical travel, and group and multigenerational journeys. These are our areas of deep focus, not sidelines. If your trip falls outside those areas, we'll tell you honestly rather than pretend otherwise.

What if I already have a specific destination in mind?

That's a great starting point. Bring it. We'll help you think through the best way to experience it: the right season, the right length, the right operators, and the details that most travelers miss until they arrive.

How long does the planning process take?

It depends on the complexity of your trip. A well-defined itinerary can come together in a few weeks. A multi-country expedition or a detailed group journey may take longer. We'll give you a realistic picture after our first conversation.

What if I'm not ready to commit?

You're not committing to anything by filling out this form. You're starting a conversation. If, after we've talked, the fit isn't there, we'll say so.

I've always booked on my own. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Many of our clients come to us when a trip becomes complex enough to warrant a different approach or just to compare perks (this is where we shine!). We'll explain our process clearly and never assume you know how it works.
